Fire Weather Research Lab

We study extreme fire behavior and fire weather leading to extreme fire danger

The SJSU Fire Weather Lab works to advance the science of wildland fire by studying fire-atmosphere interactions. We make unique observations in the wildfire environment, regularly monitor fire weather and fuel conditions, and forecast and analyze active and past wildfire events.
